One-on-One Therapeutic Yoga Sessions for Whole Health and Healing
The one-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions offer personalized guidance tailored to your unique health needs, goals, and life transitions. Each session supports physical, emotional, and mental well-being through a therapeutic, science-backed yoga approach.
1 on 1 Therapeutic Yoga Sessions Offer Personalized Healing
One-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions are private sessions between you and a certified therapeutic yoga instructor, allowing for full attention to your individual needs, goals, and limitations. Unlike general group yoga classes, these private therapeutic yoga sessions are designed to work in tandem with traditional medical treatments. Our integrated approach supports the healing of specific physiological and emotional imbalances that often result in acute and/or chronic conditions.
We offer our clients the possibility of using a combination of yoga postures, breath exercises, meditation, and/or other ancient techniques. While we cannot guarantee any specific outcome, each practice offered has been shown to be statistically significant in academic research to restore balance across physical, emotional, and energetic systems. These sessions are especially beneficial for managing anxiety, depression, menopause, fatigue, chronic pain, and high stress due to life transitions such as divorce or career change.

Individual Therapeutic Yoga Process Explained
Your one-on-one therapeutic yoga journey can begin with a free discovery call and/or a personalized intake form. The discovery call in Step 1 can offer us time to connect, discuss your goals, and determine how personalized yoga can support your well-being. If you feel certain therapeutic yoga is the approach for you, feel free to begin with Step 2 and complete the intake form. The intake form is the foundation for your tailored 8-session plan designed specifically for your physical, emotional, and energetic needs. We will review your intake form and co-create your tailored session in Step 3.

Reflect & Renew
Once we set your plan, we’ll begin your private therapeutic yoga sessions online, meeting weekly or bi-weekly to explore movement, breathing exercises, meditation, and other whole-system yoga tools. After completing your sessions, we’ll reflect on your progress together and decide whether to renew your plan, adjust the approach, or explore deeper work to continue your transformation.
Who Benefits From Individual Therapeutic Yoga Sessions
Personal yoga sessions are ideal for adult women (ages 18+) who are navigating life transitions such as college, career change, pregnancy, menopause, divorce, or becoming empty nesters. They are especially supportive for those experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, autoimmune disorders, or other system imbalances. These personalized private yoga sessions are also a safe and empowering option for anyone looking for a compassionate, science-informed approach to healing and living an integrated whole health lifestyle.
Education For Medical Professionals
If you’re a medical professional interested in integrative approaches for your patients, WHY offers you a free 5-minute video introducing how one-on-one yoga therapy supports mental and physical health, and a live webinar to explore the science behind our method and how it complements your patient care. You can also schedule a one-on-one session with Wendy to build a trusted referral relationship grounded in shared values and whole-person healing.
Enhance Your 1:1 Sessions
Whole Health Yoga small group focus classes are a good complement to 1:1 therapeutic yoga sessions. While 1:1 sessions offer a more individualized approach, small group focus classes offer an economical, personalized approach to stay committed to a regular yoga practice.
Our small group focus classes launch late winter, 2026. Please check back with us in January, 2026 for enrollment.
WHY will begin 2026 with focus classes for low energy, irregular sleep patterns, chronic back pain, and general anxiety.
Have a special focus request for small group classes? Please schedule a consultation to discuss your request.

Absolutely. One-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions offer personalized guidance tailored to your unique needs, goals, and health conditions. They allow for a deeper, more focused experience that supports your progress, a safer practice, and more sustainable results, especially when navigating physical or emotional imbalances.
-
Practicing yoga just once or twice a week can offer noticeable benefits for stress relief, sleep, and overall energy. For more lasting transformation, especially when managing chronic conditions, it’s ideal to practice two to three times a week on your own. In our one-on-one work, we typically meet once a week, and I’ll guide you in developing a personal practice you can continue between sessions.
-
The easiest yoga to start with is one that meets you where you are. Our one-on-one sessions are designed to introduce gentle, accessible practices, such as breath awareness, simple movements, and guided relaxation that are safe for beginners and adapted to your body's needs.
