One-on-One Therapeutic Yoga Sessions

These private sessions offer personalized guidance tailored to your health needs, goals, and life transitions. Each session supports physical, emotional, and mental well-being through an evidence-informed therapeutic approach to yoga.

Personalized Therapeutic Yoga Sessions

One-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions are private sessions between you and a certified therapeutic yoga instructor, allowing full attention to your individual needs, goals, and physical considerations. Unlike general group yoga classes, these sessions are designed to complement traditional medical care and support overall well-being.

Sessions may incorporate a combination of yoga postures, breath practices, meditation, and other traditional yogic techniques.

While specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, these practices are supported by academic research and are commonly used to support balance across physical, emotional, and nervous system health.

These sessions may be especially supportive for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, menopause, fatigue, chronic pain, or periods of heightened stress during life transitions such as divorce, caregiving, or career change.

Extending Your Practice Through Small-Group Sessions

In addition to individual therapeutic yoga sessions, Whole Health Yoga will offer small-group focus sessions designed to support continued practice within a structured and supportive environment.

While individual sessions provide highly personalized guidance, small-group sessions offer an opportunity to reinforce your practice alongside others working with similar concerns. These sessions remain focused and supportive while maintaining a clear therapeutic intention.

How Individual Therapeutic Yoga Sessions Work

Your one-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions begin with either a brief discovery call or a personalized intake form. The discovery call offers an opportunity to discuss your goals and explore how individualized yoga sessions may support your well-being.

If you already feel confident that therapeutic yoga is the right approach for you, you may begin by completing the intake form. This form provides the foundation for a personalized 8-session plan designed to support your physical, emotional, and nervous system well-being. After reviewing your intake, we will work together to shape a plan for your private sessions.

Reflect & Renew

Once your plan is established, your private therapeutic yoga sessions begin online. Sessions typically meet weekly or bi-weekly and may include movement, breath practices, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques adapted to your needs.

After completing your session plan, we review your progress together and decide whether to continue with additional sessions, refine your practice, or explore further areas of support.

After earning a Master’s degree from the Clinton School of Public Service at the age of 55, I set out to bridge the gap between modern medicine and the ancient wisdom of yoga.

Through Whole Health Yoga, I mentor service-oriented yoga teachers and therapists while also offering individualized online therapeutic yoga sessions and guiding retreats designed to support personal practice, rest, and renewal through a therapeutic approach to yoga.
