ABOUT
With decades of global teaching experience and a deep commitment to therapeutic yoga, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others heal through movement, breath, and science.
After two decades of teaching yoga and earning a Master’s degree from the Clinton School of Public Service at 55, I set out to bridge the gap between modern medicine and ancient yoga wisdom, empowering career-oriented yoga teachers and therapists to become agents of whole-person healing. Whole Health Yoga is the beginning of a growing community devoted to restoring balance across all dimensions of the human experience.
My approach to teaching and teacher training is rooted in teaching methods from centuries ago and modern scholarly research.
The practice of yoga has an ancient tradition of cultivating a student-teacher relationship where yogic wisdom can be shared in a way that the teacher adapts and expands appropriately for each student’s current life situations. Staying current on academic research allows me to develop evidence-based best practices for individuals and small group sessions.
