ABOUT

Wendy's writing character

With decades of global teaching experience and a deep commitment to therapeutic yoga, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others heal through movement, breath, and science.

With decades of global teaching experience and a deep commitment to therapeutic yoga, I focus my work on helping individuals support their health and well-being through movement, breath, and an evidence-informed approach to practice.

After more than two decades of teaching yoga, I earned a Master’s degree from the Clinton School of Public Service at the age of 55. During this time, I developed a higher education public program for the Clinton Presidential Library grounded in evidence-based research. This experience deepened my interest in applying evidence-based best practices to bridge modern medicine and the ancient wisdom of yoga.

Before beginning my work in yoga, I spent a decade in the corporate sector as an accountant, project manager, and regulatory director. This early career experience shaped the analytical perspective I bring to integrating traditional yoga practices with contemporary research.

My teaching and teacher-training integrates traditional yogic practices with contemporary research within a student–teacher relationship where practices are adapted to individual needs and life circumstances.
